What you say counts.... At the end of each season we put together all of the feedback that we recieve, and help owners to make the most of the holiday homes reviews. We then work with the homeowners to make changes and update the properties for the new season. :)

2011 CHALANGE 1... THEMIS VILLA

HOLIDAY HOME MAKEOVER - SPOT THE DIFFERENCE?

Starting in the bedrooms, the old bedrooms had the essentials but not the homely touches. We added: ceiling fans which are remote control operated and there were already air conditioning units fitted. New scatter cushions, linen and paintings really added to the warmer summer effect. Mirrors... we love mirrors, so in the master and double bedroom there are full length mirrors fitted in the wardrobes and also the mirrors with shelves ideal for drying your hair as they are close to plug sockets.

BATHROOMS - we took out the shower curtains and replaced them with shower screens. :) much nicer

LIVING ROOM - The living room used to be by the front door and was a little bit squashed. So we moved the whole downstairs around and now have a completely cosey living room area, with new scatter cushions, brand new flat screen tv, dvd player and satellite. We added books and dvds and Wifi internet for the new season.

DINING ROOM - the dining room is now where the living room was, much more spacious and adding mirrors and paintings just added to the feel. Two more ceiling fans were added downstairs along with the air conditioning and the messy under stairs was filled in and a door added.

OUTDOOR AREA - the cushions from the sofas are recovered, the small garden lights replaced with large outdoor lighting which is much more effective, two large lanterns were added by the sofa area and extra umbrella. New plants and solar lighting gives the outdoor area a relaxing feel. Also pool toys in a box were added for children and the new shed area to keep everything neat and tidy.

OTHER THINGS - iPod dock was a necessity and the cd player as well. With internet (wifi) and many more things set for the new season... this home has now dramatically improved. :)

THE EXTENSION - the fourth room was added to the un-used balcony area so there are now double beds in their making it three rooms upstairs and a fourth twin room downstairs. Keeping the downstairs room as it was but adding new headboards and pictures - the double beds pull out to sleep and additional 2 people, sleeping ten people in total!
