What is Cyprus like at Christmas?
A common question people ask is whether Cyprus is the same being that it is more sunny and does it really feel like Christmas here.
We say the answer is actually yes... The government / municipalities of each area work really hard at Christmas to make everything really magical, palm trees are glowing with white lights, reindeers in the streets and water fountains decorated with coloured lights. The shops get ready for Christmas just like anywhere else.
What is there to do at Christmas?
Well, although Protaras is closed it doesn’t mean everything else is, Kapparis which is only a few minutes away from Protaras is a busy little street full of bars and restaurants and there are Paralimni is only a few minutes away as well. Winter is sunny and warm with chilly nights which makes it a very enjoyable place to be.
